Physiotherapy Schools in Asia
The physiotherapy schools in Asia offer various levels of undergraduate education.   Countries like Thailand, Taiwan (ROC), Philippines, Korea and Hong Kong offer 3 to 4 year programs leading to a degree qualification.  Countries like Singapore and Indonesia offer diplomas, while Malaysia offers certificates in physiotherapy.  Yet, other countries such as Japan offer a mixture of degrees, associate degrees and diplomas.   As far as I know, there is only one physiotherapy school in China (at the certificate level), and none in Vietnam and Cambodia.  As far as is possible, I have attempted to provide as complete a listing as possible.  However, this is made difficult by the fact that most of the Asian countries that fall under the category of developing nations do not have ready access to computer technology, and hence the internet.  In addition, English is not the main language spoken in almost all these countries.  Hence, even if there is a home page available, it would not be accessible via the internet as it would be in a non-English language medium.  Special web browsers (with the required fonts) would be needed to view these pages (in addition to being conversant in the language) as in the case of Japan (in Japanese) and Taiwan (in Chinese).
Hong Kong
There is only one school for Physical Therapy education.  This is a degree course conducted by the Department of Rehabilitation Science at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Japan
There are 104 schools that offer Physical Therapy programs in Japan.  Of these 104 schools, 12 of them are 4-year University degree programs, 13 are 3-year College degree programs, 25 are 4-year Technical diploma programs, and 54 are 3-year Technical diploma programs.  A complete listing of all these schools, as well as links to their home pages, is given at the home page of the Japanese Physical Therapy Association.   Unfortunately, the entire website is in Japanese and unless you have a web browser that is capable of displaying Japanese fonts, you will not be able to view the pages.   For those who would like to try to access the list of PT schools in Japan.

Korea
Information about the schools offering PT programs is available at http://www.dragon.yonsei.ac.kr/~rehabili/link/univ.htm .  Unfortunately, this site is entirely in the Korean language.  According to this site, there are nine 4-year programs and twenty-two 3-year programs in Physical Therapy.  According to the educational system in Korea, the 3-year programs award diplomas, while the 4-year programs award a Bachelor of Health Science degree.
In addition, there are also 3 Masters (2 years) and 2 PhD (3 years) postgraduate programs in PT in Korea.  As yet, there are no entry level Masters degree programs.   Applicants who wish to apply for the postgraduate programs must have a Physical Therapist license and a Bachelors degree.
