Dear Physiotherapists

Our 6th National Congress from 16 to 21 August ended on such a high note, I am sure many are looking forward to the next congress and dinner in 2008 ! Well done to Mahadevi, Chairperson of the Congress and Geetha for the most enjoyable Dinner and Dance over the weekend.

I am very grateful to the Congress Organising committee under Devi's leadership that has brought us an amazing week of teaching and learning at the workshops and congress and the fun nite at the Masquerade Ball. I would also like to thank all HODs and Physio members for the generous support of time and finances at the Congress and the Dinner and Dance, without which it would not have been so successful. Once again, we have shown that if we work together, we can do great things for the profession.

Some heads up on coming events and updates....

2. Virginia Tai has been elected as our new Treasurer at the EGM. Virginia was working in TTSH and is now with quality assurance at SingHealth QA Unit

3. Please note that Mr Chang Koh Gay, Operations Executive, will end his work stint with us on 30 August 2006, so all PR matters please refer to Maureen. Thank you Koh Gay for helping start our Physiotherapy Professional forum, of which 2 have been successfully completed, and for helping us sort out the website, PR materials and activities for the coming PT day.

4. The Physiotherapy student council have designed and printed the new SPA polo T-shirts with our new logo, please see Maureen, if you would like to purchase them.

5. Sorry to be the slave driver, but our next big item is just around the corner, so please put our heads together to plan for the coming PT Day on 8 Sept 2006. Geetha will be emailing you for help and assistance. Do look up the website for more information too.
