  Low vision, a condition that can’t be corrected by glasses or medical intervention, significantly impacts daily life for individuals with conditions like macular degeneration, glaucoma, or brain injuries. But how can healthcare professionals help? 

  This webinar led by Dr. Debbie Boey, Principal Occupational Therapist at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, will explore how occupational therapy can empower individuals with low vision to regain independence. You’ll learn about essential interventions such as visual skills training, adaptive devices, and environmental modifications that help individuals with low vision participate in daily activities. You’ll also discover how physiotherapists can complement these efforts, especially for patients recovering from brain injuries.

  The Association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on 28^th May 2025 at 6:30pm.

  Agenda:

  1. Confirmation of Minutes of the 60th Annual General Meeting
  2. President’s Address
  3. Confirmation of Treasurer’s Report
  4. Re-appointment of Honorary Advisors, Honorary Medical Advisor, Legal Advisors and Honorary Auditors
  5. Any other business arising.

  
  

  Please note:
  

  1. Registration is required to attend the AGM.  Please register by 24^th May 2024 latest.

  2. Members who are unable to attend, do complete a Proxy form and appoint a voting member who is attending the meeting, and in his/absence, the Chairperson of the meeting, to attend, speak and vote on your behalf at the AGM.  The Proxy form will be made available to you from 9^th May 2024 onwards.
     

  3. If members have any matter to raise at the AGM, please submit the request on the online registration or mail to: secretary@physiotherapy.org.sg by 14^th May 2024 latest.

  4. An electronic copy of the Association’s Annual Report will be sent out to all members on 14th May 2024.
